Dude, next time – call an Uber. Mac Miller was arrested after he reportedly crashed his car. Mac allegedly fled the scene and supposedly, he confessed to the cops that he was driving drunk!
Mac Miller, 26, was arrested in the early hours on May 17 following a horrifying car crash that could have been much, much worse. The rapper was allegedly driving in the San Fernando Valley around 1 AM when he crashed his 2016 G-Wagon into a power pole, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. Mac and his two passengers allegedly fled the scene on foot, but an eyewitness saw the whole thing and called the cops. The police looked up the numbers on the plates on Mac’s whip, which took him to his home.
Mac allegedly confessed to driving drunk and fleeing the scene when the cops arrived. “He was the most polite and nice intoxicated person we’ve ever seen,” one law enforcement source told TMZ. He was cuffed and thrown into the slammer, with bail set at $15,000 dollars. At the time of publication, Mac is still behind bars, awaiting his release. Thankfully, no one seems to have been hurt by this careless joyride, but next time, Mac may not be so lucky.
Seriously, Mac – use Lyft, Uber, or the bus next time. Or give Ariana Grande a call. Though Mac and the “Dangerous Woman” singer broke up, Ariana still called her ex her “best friend.” It’s not unreasonable to think that she’d be more than happy to give him a ride home the next time he and his friends have too much to drink.
We’ll update this post with any more relevant details when they’re made available.
